The Fish

I'm here to tell you a story of a fish. Not just any fish, but a gold fish, living in a pond with 9 japanese coys.

One day, the owner noticed something was off with the fish. It was growing at an abnormal rate, in an abnormal way. she could almost see the veins on it's stomach! Expanded to the point of bursting! So the owner worried and fretted till it consumed all of her thoughts for the entire day. She sat by the pond just looking at the fish feeling helpless.

Finally she calls the 'pond man' and he says maybe it's eating too much. cut the food supply (they can feed on the left over debris of food). The owner does that. = no difference.

then the owner thinks it's pregnant, and she fusses over the fish trying to make a comfortable spot for it to lay eggs. (HAHAHA!)I tried to help, of course and gave her suggestions on which plant to pull out of our mother's garden, and also told her which rock in the pond to put it behind. but apparently thats not help enough (sheesh!)

after a few days, no eggs, no babies and still big fat fish.

Then the owner's mother decides to call the 'pond-man' and he comes and says that the fish is suffering from a terminal illness. All the owner could do now is wait and pray.

One morning, owner comes down and after taking a peek at the pond screams, "Gone it's dead! it's finished" The pond was red. The owner's mom had actually put in a pond-tonic (to make it clean or sumn. Hahaha! the fish was still alive. but the owner was laughed at the whole day. =D

Now, finally the gold fish has past away. Let me save the "HOW did it die". Believe me you don't wanna know!

If this is happening to your fish, IT's NOT preggers.

Goldfish ponds can be so beautiful and relaxing! I wonder are they difficult to maintain?
Thank you,
